  1. -Wild Food Walk

Have you ever wondered what those plants growing along the trails were and if they might be edible?  How about those weeds you pulled from your garden?  If so, ...

...Come along on a two-hour exploration of edible wild plants guided by Peter Harrity and Tess Ruswick of the Lime Hollow Nature Center.

Saturday, June 9th, 11am-1pm

Meet at the Lime Hollow Visitors’ Center, 338 McLean Rd., Cortland.

We will learn which wild plants and weeds are edible, how to identify them, and even try cooking and eating some.  Hopefully, you will leave with a greater appreciation of the delicious, nutrient-rich plant life growing in the Cortland area this time of year.
